Out of Tradition into TRUTH
"...to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery..." Ephesians 3:9
Mission Statement
Our mission is to lead believers out of religious tradition and into the truth of God’s Word rightly divided. We stand upon the authority of the King James Bible (AV 1611) and the revelation of the mystery given to the Apostle Paul, making all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery (Ephesians 3:9). We exist to equip the Body of Christ with sound Pauline doctrine, to expose confusion created by man-made religion, and to help believers understand their identity, purpose, and calling under the dispensation of grace. Our goal is simple: to make truth plain, to make Christ known according to the mystery, and to see lives transformed by the gospel of the grace of God.
Our Commitment
We are committed to proclaiming the gospel of the grace of God without compromise or apology. Our desire is to see all men saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We will continue to stand for sound doctrine, contend for the truth, and serve the Lord by making all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery (Ephesians 3:9). Our commitment is to truth over tradition, Scripture over speculation, and edification over entertainment.
Our Resources
Our resources are designed to help believers grow in the knowledge of the truth revealed through the Apostle Paul for this present dispensation of grace. Every article, study, devotional, and teaching is grounded in the King James Bible (AV 1611) and built upon sound Pauline doctrine, not tradition or denominational influence. We offer in-depth Bible studies, verse-by-verse commentaries, doctrinal outlines, rebuttals to religious error, and practical materials to help you understand your identity in the Body of Christ. Whether you are new to right division or a mature student of God’s Word, our goal is to provide clear, scriptural resources that make the mystery revealed to Paul understandable, applicable, and life-changing.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to make the Word of God effectual in the lives of believers through clear, rightly divided teaching, so that they know who they are in Christ and walk in the truth without confusion. We labor “to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery” that was “hid in God” and is now revealed through the Apostle Paul for this present dispensation of grace (Ephesians 3:9). This means we preach Christ according to the revelation of the mystery, not according to Israel’s prophecy, and we establish saints upon the foundation found in Paul’s epistles where the doctrine for the Body of Christ is set forth plainly.
We exist to strengthen the Body of Christ by exposing false doctrine, clarifying misunderstood scriptures, and helping believers live out their heavenly identity through grace. Our work is not about tradition, denomination, or emotion. It is about truth that edifies, not confuses, separating law from grace, prophecy from mystery, and Israel’s program from the Body’s calling. We aim for believers to be grounded and settled in sound doctrine, to stand firm in grace, to walk worthy of their vocation, and to communicate truth to others with boldness and clarity.
Practically, our purpose expresses itself in four commitments. First, to publish resources that make the mystery understandable and usable in everyday life, including verse by verse studies, doctrinal outlines, and training tools. Second, to contend earnestly for the gospel of the grace of God, keeping the message of the cross clear and free from works. Third, to equip saints to read and teach the Bible with right division, comparing Scripture with Scripture and honoring the King James Bible as final authority. Fourth, to help local ministries and families build a pattern of edification that produces charity out of a pure heart, a good conscience, and faith unfeigned.
We measure our efforts by spiritual edification, not by numbers. When believers can articulate the gospel clearly, distinguish prophecy from mystery, rest in their complete position in Christ, and help others see the fellowship of the mystery, our purpose is being fulfilled. Our prayer aligns with 1 Timothy 2:4 that all men be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth, and with Romans 16:25 that saints be established according to the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery.
Why “Out of Tradition Into Truth”
“Out of Tradition Into Truth” expresses the journey every believer must take when leaving man-made religion and embracing the Word of God rightly divided. The title is not about rejecting history or heritage, but about moving from inherited tradition to revealed truth. The Lord calls His people to grow in knowledge, not to remain bound by doctrines of men. Paul warned that believers could be spoiled “through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ” (Colossians 2:8). Religious tradition often replaces revelation, substitutes feeling for faith, and binds believers under ordinances that God never gave to the Body of Christ.
We use this name because truth has a destination. It takes the believer out of confusion and into clarity, out of works and into grace, out of Israel’s prophetic program and into the revelation of the mystery. The phrase captures the movement from shadow to substance, from earthly ordinances to heavenly identity, from denominational authority to the authority of the King James Bible (AV 1611). Tradition says “do,” but truth says “it is done.” Tradition says “join,” but truth says “you are complete in Him.”
“Out of Tradition Into Truth” is more than a title; it is a testimony of transformation. It represents the moment the Word of God effectually works in a believer who begins to see the Bible as God laid it out through right division. It is the turning point where the Scriptures open up not as a collection of mixed commands, but as a perfectly ordered revelation distinguishing prophecy from mystery, law from grace, and Israel from the Body of Christ.
Our mission under this name is to help others make that same journey. We aim to see men and women delivered from religious tradition and established in the truth of God’s grace, so that they can understand the fellowship of the mystery revealed to Paul and live confidently in their position in Christ. We exist to help believers walk away from tradition’s confusion and into the liberty of truth that builds, comforts, and edifies.
“Out of Tradition Into Truth” is the pathway from bondage to freedom, from guessing to knowing, and from religion to relationship with Christ according to the revelation of the mystery.
About Out of Tradition into TRUTH
Our Beliefs
The Scriptures
We affirm that the King James Bible, Authorized Version 1611, is the inspired and preserved word of God in English and our final authority for faith and practice. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable, that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works, 2 Timothy 3 verses 16 and 17. We receive it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe, 1 Thessalonians 2 verse 13. Therefore we do not appeal to church tradition, denominational councils, or original language reconstructions to correct it. We compare Scripture with Scripture, speaking the words which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual, 1 Corinthians 2 verse 13. We let the Bible interpret itself and we learn not to think above that which is written, 1 Corinthians 4 verse 6. We hold fast the form of sound words and rightly divide the word of truth, 2 Timothy 1 verse 13 and 2 Timothy 2 verse 15.
Salvation by Grace through Faith
We believe the gospel that saves today is declared in 1 Corinthians 15 verses 1 through 4. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. The blood of Christ shed on the cross is the full payment and propitiation for all sin, and through His blood we have redemption and forgiveness of sins. The resurrection proves that this blood payment is sufficient and accepted by God. This good news concerns the finished work of Christ for us, not our promises to God, not our performance, and not our perseverance. The blood declares that the justice of God is satisfied, that the sin debt has been paid in full, and that God can be just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. See 1 Corinthians 15 verses 1 through 4, Romans 3 verses 24 through 26, Ephesians 1 verse 7, Colossians 1 verses 14 and 20, Romans 4 verse 25.
Salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace through faith alone, without works, ceremony, law keeping, or covenant obligation. Faith is believing what God says He has accomplished through the cross and the resurrection, trusting the merit of Christ’s shed blood and not the merit of self. To believe this gospel is to rest in Christ’s death for our sins, His burial as proof of death, and His resurrection for our justification. It is not turning over a new leaf, not inviting Jesus into one’s heart, not making a promise to serve, not confessing sins to be saved, and not water baptism. See Ephesians 2 verses 8 and 9, Titus 3 verses 4 through 7, Romans 4 verses 4 through 8, Galatians 2 verse 16.
The moment a sinner believes this gospel of Christ’s death for our sins, burial, and resurrection, trusting His shed blood, he is justified and forgiven, redeemed by His blood, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and baptized by the Spirit into the Body of Christ. He is made alive together with Christ, seated with Him positionally in heavenly places, and accepted in the beloved. This salvation is complete and present possession, and it gives eternal life, peace with God, and access by faith into grace wherein we stand. See Ephesians 1 verses 7 and 13, 1 Corinthians 12 verse 13, Colossians 2 verses 10 through 14, Ephesians 2 verses 4 through 7, Romans 5 verses 1 and 2.
This gospel is the gospel of the grace of God revealed to the apostle Paul and concerns the Body of Christ, not Israel’s prophesied kingdom program. We are saved apart from the law and apart from Israel’s covenants. We are not under the new covenant made with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Our standing is by grace through the revelation of the mystery now made known. Therefore we do not mix Israel’s ordinances, signs, temple worship, or covenant conditions into the gospel that saves today. See Acts 20 verse 24, Romans 11 verse 13, Romans 16 verses 25 and 26, Ephesians 3 verses 1 through 9, Colossians 1 verses 25 through 27.
Because salvation rests on Christ’s blood and resurrection and not on man’s works, the believer is secure forever. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are preserved by His life, kept by His Spirit, and complete in Him. Assurance rests on the sure testimony of Scripture that the work is finished and accepted. See Romans 8 verses 31 through 39, John 19 verse 30, Colossians 2 verse 10
Paul’s Special Apostleship and Pattern
We believe the risen Lord Jesus Christ committed a distinct revelation to the apostle Paul for this present dispensation of the grace of God. Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles and the minister of the mystery, Romans 11 verse 13 and Ephesians 3 verses 1 through 9. He received the gospel and his commission by revelation of Jesus Christ, not of man, Galatians 1 verses 11 and 12. He was made a wise masterbuilder and the things he wrote are the commandments of the Lord, 1 Corinthians 3 verse 10 and 1 Corinthians 14 verse 37. He is set forth as a pattern to them which should hereafter believe, 1 Timothy 1 verse 16. The doctrine that establishes the Body of Christ in truth and practice is found in Paul’s epistles, Romans through Philemon. We are told to consider what he says and the Lord will give understanding in all things, 2 Timothy 2 verse 7, to be followers together of him, Philippians 3 verse 17, and to hold fast the form of sound words, 2 Timothy 1 verse 13. We labor to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which was kept secret since the world began and is now made manifest, Ephesians 3 verse 9 and Colossians 1 verses 25 through 27.
The Body of Christ and Israel are Distinct
We believe the Body of Christ is a new creature with a heavenly position and hope, neither Jew nor Gentile in standing before God. By one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, and we are all one in Christ Jesus, 1 Corinthians 12 verse 13 and Galatians 3 verse 28. God hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 1 verse 3 and Ephesians 2 verse 6. In time past Gentiles were aliens and strangers from the covenants of promise, but now in Christ Jesus we are made nigh by the blood of Christ and of twain he hath made one new man, Ephesians 2 verses 12 through 16. Israel is a nation with earthly promises and a prophesied kingdom, whereas our conversation is in heaven, Philippians 3 verse 20. We reject the blending of Israel’s prophetic program with the doctrine that governs the Body of Christ. The new covenant, the kingdom gospel, and Israel’s earthly hope do not define the calling or rule of life for the Body of Christ in this present dispensation, Ephesians 1 verse 10 and Colossians 3 verses 1 through 3.
Prophecy and Mystery Kept Separate
We believe prophecy concerns the earth, Israel, and the promised kingdom, while the mystery concerns the heavenly purpose revealed to Paul for the Body of Christ. The preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery was kept secret since the world began but is now made manifest, Romans 16 verses 25 and 26. This hidden wisdom God ordained before the world unto our glory, which none of the princes of this world knew, 1 Corinthians 2 verses 7 and 8. The dispensation of the grace of God and the fellowship of the mystery were given to Paul to make known among the Gentiles, Ephesians 3 verses 1 through 9 and Colossians 1 verses 25 through 27. All Scripture is for our learning, yet not all Scripture is written to us or about us. Right division keeps law and grace, circumcision and uncircumcision, prophecy and mystery, Israel’s program and the Body’s dispensation, each in its proper place, 2 Timothy 2 verse 15 and Galatians 2 verse 7. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, Romans 15 verse 4, but our doctrine and practice are established by Paul’s gospel for this dispensation, Romans 16 verse 25.
One Gospel that Saves Today
We preach Christ according to the revelation of the mystery. The gospel that saves today is the gospel of the grace of God, centered on the finished crosswork of Christ and His resurrection. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15 verses 1 through 4. God hath set forth Christ to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus, Romans 3 verses 24 through 26. We are saved by grace through faith, not of works, Ephesians 2 verses 8 and 9, and not by works of righteousness which we have done, Titus 3 verses 5 through 7. We do not preach the gospel of the kingdom which concerned Israel’s prophesied kingdom on earth. Paul testified the gospel of the grace of God and the preaching of the cross for all men without distinction, Acts 20 verse 24 and 1 Corinthians 1 verses 18 and 23. If any preach any other gospel, let him be accursed, Galatians 1 verses 6 through 9. Christ sent Paul not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, 1 Corinthians 1 verse 17.
One Baptism by the Spirit
We believe there is one baptism that operates today, which is the Spirit baptizing the believer into the Body of Christ. By one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, 1 Corinthians 12 verse 13, and there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, Ephesians 4 verse 5. This identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection is without water, for we are buried with Him by baptism into death and raised to walk in newness of life, Romans 6 verses 3 and 4. We are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands and buried with Him in baptism, wherein also we are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God, Colossians 2 verses 11 and 12. Water rites do not add righteousness, do not convey the Spirit, and are not required for salvation. Our identity is in Christ alone, Galatians 3 verse 27 and Colossians 2 verse 10. Christ sent Paul not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, 1 Corinthians 1 verse 17.
Spiritual Gifts and Sign Miracles
We believe sign gifts belonged to Israel’s program and served as confirmation in the early testimony. The Jews require a sign, 1 Corinthians 1 verse 22, and the signs of an apostle were wrought among the saints in Paul’s early ministry, 2 Corinthians 12 verse 12. As revelation progressed and the word of God was completed and established for the Body of Christ, that which was in part was done away, 1 Corinthians 13 verses 8 through 10. The Body of Christ walks by faith, not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7. We do not build our faith on tongues, visions, or healing campaigns. Even in Paul’s later ministry faithful men were not always healed, as with Timothy’s often infirmities and Trophimus left at Miletum sick, 1 Timothy 5 verse 23 and 2 Timothy 4 verse 20. The Spirit now works through the completed word of God to edify the Body in sound doctrine, charity, and good works that adorn the gospel, 2 Timothy 3 verses 16 and 17, 1 Corinthians 14 verse 26, and Titus 2 verses 11 through 14.
Prayer and Practice under Grace
We pray according to Pauline instruction, giving thanks in every thing and making supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all men, 1 Thessalonians 5 verses 16 through 18 and 1 Timothy 2 verses 1 through 4. We are careful for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we make our requests known unto God, and the peace of God keeps our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, Philippians 4 verses 6 and 7. We do not claim Israel’s prayer formulas or covenant guarantees. We rest in the sufficiency of God’s grace and the Spirit’s help, 2 Corinthians 12 verses 8 and 9 and Romans 8 verses 26 and 27. Our practice flows from our position in Christ. As we have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so we walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, Colossians 2 verses 6 and 7. We walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called, with all lowliness and meekness, forbearing one another in love, Ephesians 4 verses 1 through 3. Our service is energized by grace, not by law, and we stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, Galatians 5 verse 1 and Titus 2 verses 11 and 12.
The Lord’s Supper
We receive the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of the Lord’s death till He come. It is not a sacrament and it does not convey grace or remove sin. Our forgiveness and standing are by the blood of Christ and by grace through faith alone, not by any table, element, or ordinance. See 1 Corinthians 11 verses 23 through 26, Ephesians 1 verse 7, Titus 3 verses 4 through 7.
In keeping with Paul’s instructions, we partake in remembrance, self examination, and loving regard for the Body of Christ, discerning the Lord’s body and showing the Lord’s death till He come. The bread and the cup are symbols that testify to the cross and the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. See 1 Corinthians 10 verses 16 and 17, 1 Corinthians 11 verses 27 through 29, Romans 3 verses 24 through 26.
This observance belongs to the Body of Christ under the revelation given to Paul and is distinct from Israel’s covenant meals. It is not the Passover and it does not place us under any covenant. Frequency and manner are matters of edification and liberty within the assembly, and all things are to be done in decency and in order. See 1 Corinthians 11 verses 17 through 34, 1 Corinthians 14 verse 40, Romans 14 verses 19 and 22.
Eternal Security and Assurance
We believe the believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. The Scripture says, “after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession” Ephesians 1 verses 13 and 14. This seal is unto the day of redemption and is not fragile, “grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption” Ephesians 4 verse 30. Our assurance rests in the faithfulness of God and the finished work of Christ. “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it” First Thessalonians 5 verse 24, and “being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it” Philippians 1 verse 6. Salvation is a present possession for the believer in this dispensation. “Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 5 verse 1, and we “have now received the atonement” Romans 5 verse 11. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, “neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers” Romans 8 verses 38 and 39. We stand complete in Christ by His blood, not by our works. See Colossians 2 verses 10 through 14, Titus 3 verses 4 through 7, and Ephesians 1 verse 7.
Our Hope and Calling
We believe the hope of the Body of Christ is heavenly. God “hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1 verse 3, and has “raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 2 verse 6. We look for the appearing of Christ and our gathering unto Him, not for signs of an earthly kingdom. Our hope is called “that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” Titus 2 verse 13, and “by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him” Second Thessalonians 2 verse 1. Our conversation is in heaven, “from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ” Philippians 3 verse 20, and our affection is set on things above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God, Colossians 3 verses 1 through 4. We look for the Lord Himself to descend and for us to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, First Thessalonians 4 verses 13 through 18. Our calling is a heavenly calling in Christ, and we are to walk worthy of that calling with all lowliness and meekness, Ephesians 4 verses 1 through 3.
What We Reject
We reject any system that makes the Body of Christ the bride. Scripture calls us His Body and members of His flesh and of His bones, and the great mystery is Christ and the church as one Body, Ephesians 5 verses 30 through 32. We reject placing the Body under Israel’s covenants, since the covenants pertain to Israel, Romans 9 verse 4, and we in time past were strangers from the covenants of promise, Ephesians 2 verse 12. We reject water or works as any requirement for salvation, for “by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works” Ephesians 2 verses 8 and 9, and “not by works of righteousness which we have done” Titus 3 verse 5, and “a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ” Galatians 2 verse 16. We reject using the book of Acts as a manual of doctrine for the Body apart from Pauline instruction, since Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles, Romans 11 verse 13, and we are commanded to “hold fast the form of sound words” and to “rightly divide the word of truth” Second Timothy 1 verse 13 and Second Timothy 2 verse 15. We reject interpretations that confuse the gospel of the grace of God with the gospel of the kingdom. Paul testifies “the gospel of the grace of God” Acts 20 verse 24, and distinguishes his ministry of the uncircumcision from the gospel of the circumcision, Galatians 2 verse 7. We reject governing the practice of the Body with passages written to Israel, such as the new covenant promised to the house of Israel and the house of Judah in Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8, kingdom commissions limited to Israel in Matthew 10 verses 5 through 7, and epistles addressed to the twelve tribes, James 1 verse 1 and First Peter 1 verse 1. Our doctrine and practice are to be established by Paul’s epistles for this dispensation of grace, Romans 16 verses 25 through 26 and Ephesians 3 verses 1 through 9.
Our Aim
Our aim is to preach Christ according to the mystery. We make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, Ephesians 3 verses 8 and 9, and we establish saints according to Paul’s gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery, Romans 16 verse 25. We labor to see souls saved by the gospel of grace, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, First Corinthians 15 verses 1 through 4, and we testify the gospel of the grace of God, Acts 20 verse 24. We seek to edify saints with sound Pauline doctrine so they know who they are in Christ and walk worthy of their calling. This includes teaching their position and blessings in heavenly places, Ephesians 1 verses 3 through 14, their completeness in Christ, Colossians 2 verse 10, and their walk in grace and truth, Ephesians 4 verses 11 through 16 and Colossians 1 verses 9 and 10. We commit to clarity over confusion, for God is not the author of confusion, First Corinthians 14 verse 33. We commit to Scripture over tradition, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men” Colossians 2 verse 8. We commit to grace over bondage, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free” Galatians 5 verse 1, and we work together with you as helpers of your joy, Second Corinthians 1 verse 24.
Note:
On Using Verses Outside Paul’s Epistles
We hold Paul’s epistles as the doctrinal authority for the Body of Christ in this present dispensation. When we cite verses from Genesis through John, from Acts outside Paul’s ministry, or from Hebrews through Revelation, we do so as faithful witnesses to Christ’s finished work, as historical record, or for edification that agrees with Pauline doctrine. Such citations are interpreted in the light of the revelation given to Paul, and they are never used to place the Body under Israel’s covenants, ordinances, signs, kingdom laws, or prophetic conditions. For example, John 19 verse 30 records the historical moment that the payment was finished, while the meaning and application of that finished work to the Body of Christ is made known through Paul’s gospel. See 1 Corinthians 15 verses 1 through 4, Romans 3 verses 24 through 26, Ephesians 3 verses 1 through 9, Colossians 1 verses 25 through 27, John 19 verse 30.
